Kristin Karlyn, MD, earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1992. She then completed her medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine in 1996. Her internship and residency in Internal Medicine both took place at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena. She finished that training as Chief Medical Resident in 2000. She holds board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
