Dr. Kenneth Olson brings over 40 years of family medicine experience to AHI Integrative Health & Wellness in Bloomington, MN. He earned his undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He completed his Family Medicine residency at North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis through the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Olson began his career in rural Minnesota before spending subsequent years in the Twin Cities Metro area. He holds a faculty appointment as Adjunct Clinical Professor in the UMN Department of Family Medicine, where he teaches in the Family Medicine Clerkship and leads the Foundations of Clinical Thinking course for first- and second-year students. He also serves as a lead physician facilitator for Significant Event Reflection sessions with third- and fourth-year students. The University of Minnesota Medical Foundation recognized him with its Exceptional Community Faculty Teaching Award in 2007. He serves as a faculty member of the Academy on Communication in Healthcare and facilitates the Healer's Art program for first-year medical students. Beyond Minnesota, Dr. Olson travels to Tanzania to work alongside clinicians at Ilula District Hospital near Iringa, teaching US medical, pharmacy, and other students and residents there. He shares this passion for Tanzania with his wife, Birdie.
