About
Dr. Kelly Hodges grew up on the island of Maui, Hawaii, before pursuing medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center, where she earned her MD. She then moved to Houston to complete her Pediatrics residency at Texas Children's Hospital. After residency, she spent three years as a medical missionary in Malawi, Africa. There she worked to improve children's nutrition, introduced CPAP treatment for premature and sick infants, and cared for underserved children with epilepsy. Those years abroad shaped a holistic and compassionate lens she brings to every patient encounter.

Outside the clinic, she serves as chair of the English as a Second Language program at Rice Temple Baptist Church. She enjoys gardening and dreams of growing her own organic produce.
