Dr. Karin Wells Schiller is a board-certified family medicine physician who has called Arroyo Grande home since 2008. She earned her MD from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, training at LAC/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. After a General Surgery internship in New York City, she served four years as a Navy medical officer. That service took her to North Carolina, Washington DC, and a deployment in Kosovo.

After leaving the Navy, Dr. Schiller spent a year working in a North Carolina emergency room before relocating to Redding, California. There she completed her Family Medicine residency at Mercy Redding Family Practice and spent seven years building her clinical foundation. She also holds an MBA from East Carolina University. She belongs to the American Academy of Family Physicians, the California Academy of Family Physicians, and the California Medical Association, among other professional organizations. Her care philosophy integrates western disease-based medicine with holistic mind-body approaches. She is passionate about therapeutic partnerships that help patients make lasting lifestyle changes.
