Dr. Julie RietzeMD

Family Medicine

at Lilac Direct Primary Care — Spokane, WA

About

Dr. Julie Rietze began practicing family medicine in Spokane in 2006, completing her residency here in the city she still calls home. She has spent nearly two decades caring for patients across all age groups, including generations of families she describes as the true heart of family medicine. After years in insurance-based practice, she chose to build something different. She founded Lilac Direct Primary Care to practice medicine the way she always believed it should work.

Dr. Rietze holds a board focus in family medicine and brings a wide clinical range to her work, treating everything from chronic disease and mental health to skin conditions and women's health. She performs in-office procedures including skin lesion biopsies, IUD placement and removal, laceration repair, and cryotherapy. Outside the clinic, she loves camping and hiking with her family throughout the Spokane and Inland Northwest area. She hosts a monthly Walk with a Doc community event and describes herself as Your Walking Doc.
