Joshua Nguyen, MD, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Houston Baptist University in 1989. He completed his medical training entirely at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, earning his Doctorate of Medicine in 1993. He finished his internship there in 1994 and completed his Family Medicine residency in 1996.
