Dr. John Bennett earned his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology before completing additional studies in Environmental Engineering. He then pursued medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, earning his Doctorate of Medicine. He completed his residency at Memorial University Hospital in Savannah, the city where he would later build his practice.

After residency, Dr. Bennett spent seven years in private Internal Medicine practice in Atlanta. He then returned to Southeast Georgia, bringing more than 20 years of direct patient care across both outpatient and hospital settings. He served as Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Medical Staff for a hospital in Southeast Georgia. He holds board certification in Internal Medicine and advanced certification in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy through the Academy of Preventative and Innovative Medicine by WorldLink Medical in North Salt Lake, Utah. Dr. Bennett is an active member of the Age Management Medicine Group, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. ' He is passionate about hormonal decline, cardiovascular health, metabolic syndrome, cognitive decline prevention, and the science of healthy aging. He opened Coastal Age Management MD with his wife to serve adults who approach their health with intention. His own parents, both 94 years old, live independently and in good health, a testament to the principles he brings to every patient relationship.
