She went on to complete her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she earned induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Her residency in Internal Medicine and Primary Care took place at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. After residency, she served as an attending physician in the Emergency Department at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center.
