Jessica Rouse, MD has called Vermont home since 2002, when she arrived to attend the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She earned her medical degree there in 2006 and went on to complete her Family Medicine residency at Fletcher Allen Healthcare, now the University of Vermont Medical Center, in 2009. She has practiced in Middlebury ever since, building nearly two decades of family medicine experience in the community she calls home.

In 2019, Dr. Rouse co-founded Village Health with Laura Wilkinson, FNP, bringing a whole-person philosophy to primary care for patients of all ages. She is passionate about preventive care, chronic disease management, and supporting patients through meaningful lifestyle change. Outside of medicine, Dr. Rouse lives in Middlebury with her wife, three kids, and two dogs. She spends her free time hiking, cooking, fencing, and designing lighting for community theater productions.
