About
Dr. Jessica Kassis is a board-certified gynecologist and Menopause Society Certified Provider with over 15 years of experience in women's health. She completed her undergraduate degree at Middlebury College, served with the Peace Corps in West Africa, then earned her MD from the University of Minnesota. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology took place at Stanford University Medical Center. After residency, she joined Stanford's faculty as a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Residency Program Director. She then spent eight years at San Mateo County Hospital managing high-volume surgery and complex pregnancies.
In 2019, Dr. Kassis joined Palo Alto Medical Foundation, where she trained under a leading menopause specialist. When that mentor retired, she entrusted Dr. Kassis with her practice. That experience, combined with her own perimenopause journey, deepened her focus on midlife women's health. She holds Fellowship status in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and maintains active membership in The Menopause Society and the Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health. She regularly pursues advanced continuing medical education, most recently completing a specialized course on managing menopause and hormone therapy in breast cancer survivors. Outside medicine, she enjoys photography, interior design, and travel with her husband, two children, and dog.
