Dr. Jason Caswell earned his undergraduate degree from Alma College in Alma, Michigan before completing his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He began his residency training in Internal Medicine at SAUSHEC, then transferred to the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency, where his peers selected him as Chief Resident.
Dr. Caswell holds board certification in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine, earned in 2019. He also holds an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) instructor endorsement from the American College of Surgeons, a distinction he earned in 2009 as the youngest physician the organization had ever granted that honor. The DEA granted him an expanded DEA number to prescribe all controlled substances, including buprenorphine for opiate use disorder. S. Air Force originally brought him to Cheyenne, where he has spent the last decade building his practice and his life.
