About

Dr. Idil Kore is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and the founder of Cimri Medical in Collingswood, NJ. She grew up in Nashville, Tennessee after immigrating from Somalia. From an early age, she understood that health underpins everything else in a person's life. That conviction guided her toward medicine.

She earned her undergraduate degree at Princeton University and her MD at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, the Harvard-affiliated teaching hospital in Boston. She also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Her academic career took her through faculty roles at the University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern University, and Emory University. After more than a decade in academic medicine, she founded Cimri to practice with the time and continuity she believed good medicine required. Her clinical scope spans hypertension, diabetes, cardiometabolic conditions, thyroid and adrenal disorders, gastrointestinal disease, asthma, COPD, anxiety, depression, cognitive concerns, and men's and women's health.
