About

Guozhen (Ken) Liu, MD is a board-certified family physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians with nearly 30 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from Hubei Medical University in 1983. He then completed a residency in Infectious Diseases at the First Teaching Hospital of Hubei Medical University. He later pursued a second residency in Family Medicine at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Michigan.

Dr. Liu spent a decade as Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine. He served as both Medical Director and Assistant Program Director within the Family Medicine Residency Program at Genesys Regional Medical Center. He taught residents and medical students for over 20 years. Since 2016, he has held an Associate Clinical Professor appointment at Pacific Northwest University Health Science. Before opening VIP Family Medicine Clinic, he served as Lead Physician at Swedish Bellevue Primary Care Clinic from 2021 to 2024.
