Eric Seifter, MD, received his BA in Biology with Honors and his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital and then trained in Medical Oncology through a fellowship at the National Cancer Institute at NIH. Since 1987, Dr. Seifter has served as Associate Professor of Oncology and Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. He has received multiple teaching awards and continues contributing to research and education in oncology.
Dr. Seifter directs Greenspring Personal Oncology and has practiced oncology in the Baltimore area for more than 40 years. He speaks English and French. Outside medicine, he and his wife coach 'It's Academic Quizbowl' teams at local elementary, middle, and high schools. He also enjoys collecting fossils, playing tennis, and traveling.
