at Lamb Health Direct Primary Care — Gilbert, AZ

About

Dr. Deryl Lamb grew up in Chandler, Arizona, as a fifth-generation Arizonan. He completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University, earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and finished his Family Medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. He opened his first East Valley clinic in Queen Creek in 1996 and has practiced family medicine in the region for more than two decades. Phoenix Magazine named him a Top Doc, and he served as faculty for the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Over his career, he has delivered more than 1,200 babies.

Dr. Lamb is passionate about restoring a personal touch to patient care. He transitioned to the direct primary care model after recognizing that shorter, rushed visits left little room for meaningful medicine. Outside the clinic, he reads broadly across topics and genres, studies the intersection of Eastern and Western health philosophies, and plays piano pieces by Chopin and Debussy. He enjoys travel, sports, and history. He also served a two-year mission in Chile. He and his family include seven grown children and seven granddaughters.
