Dr. Derek A. Farley is a board-certified family physician with more than two decades of experience in family and emergency medicine. O. in 1997 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, after completing his undergraduate Biology degree at Texas Lutheran College. His residency in family practice took place at Corpus Christi Medical Center - Bay Area, where he served as Chief Resident from 1999 to 2000.

Dr. Farley served as Medical Director of Plano Minor Emergency Center from 2001 to 2003. He then co-founded Farley Family Medicine in Little Elm, Texas with his wife, Robin (Dees) Farley, PA-C, MPAS, running that practice from 2004 to 2009 before transitioning to emergency medicine. He currently works part-time at TotalCare ER in Denton alongside his DPC practice. His clinical focus includes chronic disease management, preventive care, urgent care, and family medicine for patients from birth through senior years. He and Robin have three children, including twin boys and a daughter.
