Family Medicine

at Genesis Primary Care — Weston, WI

About

Dr. David Lange knew early in life that medicine was his calling. He attended the University of Minnesota for medical school, spending his third year in Bemidji through the University's Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP). That groundbreaking rural training program shaped his decision to pursue family medicine in smaller communities. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley Residency Program in 1995.

Dr. Lange spent his early career at Marshfield Clinic in Merrill, Wisconsin, practicing full-spectrum family medicine that included obstetrics. He transferred to the Weston Clinic in 2005 when St. Clare's Hospital opened, then contributed to clinic development in Wittenberg. He later served as Primary Care Medical Director with Ministry Health Care, overseeing all primary care providers across Central Wisconsin. After a final tenure at Aspirus Medford Clinic, he founded Genesis Primary Care to practice fully on his own terms. He carries 27 years of experience treating patients across nearly every medical specialty area. He holds a particular interest in sleep apnea diagnosis and management. He remains comfortable caring for pregnant women for non-obstetric needs.
