Dr. David Kuo is a board-certified internist, Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and elected Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and his medical degree from Brown University. He then completed post-doctoral training in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a Fellowship in General Internal Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital.
In 1998, Dr. Kuo joined the medical staff of Morristown Medical Center, where he supervised primary care for underserved patients and led community outreach efforts. He served as Director of Ambulatory Medical Education and Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency there. Mentoring the next generation of physicians remains his greatest passion. He holds dual academic appointments as associate professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and St. George's University School of Medicine. In 2018, the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Physicians awarded him the Laureate Award.
