About
Dr. Daniel Witkowski has spent his career focused on one goal: helping women thrive at every stage of life. He holds double board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Lifestyle Medicine, and he earned fellowship status in both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. His medical career began in 1993, and he has cared for thousands of women from adolescence through menopause and beyond. He spent years practicing at Women's Healthcare Associates in Melrose, Massachusetts, and served as Chairman of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Hallmark Health Systems. He has served on many national patient safety boards and is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer in lifestyle medicine.
In 2007, a personal realization about the role of nutrition in health set Dr. Witkowski on a new path. That turning point led him to earn certification as a Plant Based Nutritionist and to pursue board certification in Lifestyle Medicine. He serves on the nutraMetrix Clinical Advisory Board and Faculty and partners with the ProLon fasting-mimicking diet program. He and his wife Pamela co-created LifestyleDesignMD, a program built on the eight nutritional principles and the 3-4-5 meal planning method. Together, they co-founded Direct Women's Health in 2022 to deliver care on their own terms. He is a husband, father of six, and grandfather of five, and he believes strong family bonds and purpose-driven living are central to good health.
