Dr. Daniel Kohl grew up in Cedarville, Ohio, and first pursued medicine after joining medical-mission trips to Philadelphia, India, Nepal, and Paraguay. Those experiences shaped a commitment to serve others through hands-on, relationship-driven care. S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Cedarville University in 2016, graduating with minors in Bible and Spanish. O. in 2020. During medical school, he served as president of the campus Christian Medical and Dental Association and developed a strong interest in osteopathic manipulative treatment.

He and his wife, his childhood best friend, chose Edinburg as their permanent home. They have three sons and enjoy hiking, soccer, farmer's markets, family game nights, and homeschooling together.
