About
Dr. Currissa Alsobrooks is a board-certified family medicine physician who trained at the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in Houston. She grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, but spent most of her life in Texas, eventually settling in the Humble and Atascocita community with her family. Before founding Bene Beyond Family Medicine, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas-Houston, teaching the next generation of physicians. She also brings hands-on experience from post-disaster medicine, including work assisting clinics after Hurricane Ike.
Dr. Alsobrooks is passionate about preventive care, women's health, chronic disease management, and nutrient optimization through physician-guided IV therapy. She founded her practice in a deliberately small, 240-square-foot clinic to keep scheduling tight and patient time unhurried. She believes strongly in rebuilding the doctor-patient relationship and has channeled that belief into community events, health education programs, and a women's wellness initiative across the Houston area. A wife and mother of two boys, she brings both professional depth and personal investment to her work in the Humble community.
