Dr. Clifford Gazda grew up in Chicago and brought an unusually broad scientific foundation into medicine. He earned a BA in Neuropsychology from Northwestern University, then spent time at Rush University conducting research on sleep and circadian rhythms. He went on to complete a Master of Arts in Biological Sciences at Loyola University Chicago before entering the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he earned pre-clinical honors in Medical Cell and Tissue Biology, Immunology/Microbiology, and Molecular Medicine/Genetics.
Dr. Gazda completed his Family Medicine residency at HonorHealth (formerly Scottsdale Healthcare), earning the Outstanding Second Year Resident distinction and the STFM Resident Teacher Award in 2013. He holds board certification in Family Medicine. After moving to Arizona in 2010, he built nearly a decade of clinical experience at HonorHealth McKellips and Desert Ridge Family Physicians before launching Connected Family Medicine. He is passionate about preventive care and patient education, and he continues to teach medical students. Outside the office, he enjoys kickboxing, running, golf, and spending time with family and friends.
