Dr. Brynn Everist is a board-certified allergist and clinical immunologist serving patients of all ages at Prairie Allergy in Prairie Village, Kansas. A Kansas City native, she studied Theology and Pre-Med at Boston College before earning her medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After a year in San Francisco, she returned to Kansas City and spent several years as a pediatrician at Turner House/Vibrant Health. She later returned to the University of Kansas to complete a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology.
Dr. Everist holds active membership in both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She serves as a board member of the Greater Kansas City Allergy Society. She trains other allergists in QUICK-LI and sublingual immunotherapy techniques. Her clinical interests span environmental allergies, food allergies, asthma, eczema, anaphylaxis, and eosinophilic esophagitis. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, cooking, traveling, sewing, and gardening. She lives in Kansas City with her husband, a musculoskeletal radiologist at KUMC, their three school-aged children, and a small menagerie that includes a dog, a cat, and a leopard gecko.
