About
Brandon Fletcher, MD, founded Nostalgia Family Medicine in Longwood, Florida, alongside his wife Emily, a registered nurse. He grew up in Eastern North Carolina, raised by a single mother who served as a nurse manager of an endoscopy and post-anesthesia care unit. That early exposure to medicine shaped his conviction that care should be compassionate, accessible, and personal.
Dr. Fletcher completed his undergraduate studies at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten, then completed his clinical and internship training on the East Coast. His family medicine residency took place at Vidant Medical Center through the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, a 1,000-bed trauma center where he gained broad clinical experience. After residency, he took a hospitalist position at the very hospital where he was born and where his mother built her nursing career. He later relocated to Florida, working as a hospitalist at Florida Hospital Altamonte, AdventHealth East Orlando, and AdventHealth Celebration before opening Nostalgia. He holds board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine and carries certification as a medical cannabis physician. His clinical focus spans family medicine and preventive care, with expertise in hypertension, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS, chronic pain, and conditions qualifying for medical cannabis treatment. Outside the practice, Dr. Fletcher supports the Mountain of Hope clinic in Honduras, Angels of Mercy Ministries, and The Pregnancy Center of Sanford.
