Dr. Ashley Finch is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and the founder of Direct Primary Care of Southeast Texas. She grew up in Beaumont and graduated from West Brook High School before earning her Biology degree from Lamar University. She then completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018.

Dr. Finch completed her Family Medicine residency at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, where she pursued a specialized Street Medicine track. That training deepened her clinical expertise in harm reduction, chronic hepatitis C treatment, and substance use disorders. Her residency program recognized her dedication to underserved populations with a Humanitarian Award. After residency, she returned to Southeast Texas to practice at Legacy Community Health. In 2021, Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine appointed her as a Clinical Assistant Professor, where she taught Family Medicine to rotating medical students. Her clinical focus spans preventive care, chronic disease management, women's health, and medical weight management. She pursues continuing education in obesity medicine, lifestyle medicine, and menopause care.
