Angela Marchant, DO, IBCLC grew up in Milwaukee and attended Milwaukee Public Schools before earning a Bachelor's degree in Women's and Gender Studies and Public Health from Brandeis University. She went on to complete her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at AT Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. She extended her medical training by a full year to complete a predoctoral teaching fellowship in Osteopathic Manual Medicine and Anatomy at AT Still University. Her residency in Family Medicine took place at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
Dr. Marchant holds board certification in both Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and earned her IBCLC credential in lactation consulting. Her clinical passions include osteopathic manipulative treatment, breastfeeding and lactation medicine, fertility and IUI, and holistic family medicine. She uses gentle OMT techniques including myofascial release, balanced ligamentous tension, and craniosacral osteopathy with patients of all ages. Before medical school, she volunteered in Madison with Groundwork and community organizations focused on racial justice, housing, addiction recovery, and criminal justice reform. She co-founded The Midwest Center for Breastfeeding and Postpartum Medicine alongside her colleague Dr. Anne. As of January 2026, Dr. Marchant no longer enrolls new DPC patients but continues seeing children for osteopathy and patients for breastfeeding medicine.
