About
Dr. Amy Wright founded Blue Skies Wellness DPC in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, opening the practice on July 6, 2026. She specializes in family medicine and preventive medicine for adults. Before building her practice on Aquidneck Island, she served in the United States Air Force and took part in combat missions in Iraq. That experience gave her a direct communication style and a deep sense of responsibility to the patients who depend on her.
Dr. Wright treats a broad range of adult health needs, including chronic disease management, hormone replacement therapy, menopause and perimenopause care, GI health, sleep disorders, and musculoskeletal pain. She holds training in osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) and offers LGBTQ+ affirming care. She keeps her patient panel small so every visit gets full, unhurried attention. Outside of medicine, she is a mother of triplets and a polo player. She brings that same commitment to precision and teamwork to the care she delivers every day.
