About

Dr. Amy Paxton Blossom grew up in Tupelo, MS and graduated from Tupelo High School in 1993. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University in 1996. She then attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she completed both a Master of Science in Microbiology and her Doctor of Medicine. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology took place at UMMC, where she received the Carl Evers Resident of the Year Award in 2006. She earned board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2010.

Dr. Blossom spent two years as a staff physician at UMMC before joining New Albany OB-GYN Clinic and Baptist Memorial Hospital, where she practiced from 2011 to 2020. She founded Carlyle Concierge Medicine in 2021 with a focus on building lasting relationships through personalized, comprehensive care. Her clinical interests center on menopause and hormone therapy, nutrition, women's health, and preventive medicine. Outside of medicine, she is passionate about gardening, travel, cooking, and the arts. She is a life member of Junior Auxiliary of Tupelo, a past president of Tupelo Ballet, and has volunteered with Parkgate Pregnancy Center. She and her husband, Dr. Benjamin Blossom, an Interventional Cardiologist, have three children and attend Lawndale Presbyterian Church in Tupelo.
