Dr. Adam Owens brings over 15 years of family medicine experience to Durango Primary Care. He graduated from Albany Medical College in 2011 and completed his family medicine residency at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO in 2014. He has practiced in Durango ever since. Before founding Durango Primary Care, Dr. Owens served as the team primary doctor for Fort Lewis College athletics through 2022. He holds a special clinical interest in acute and urgent care as well as sports medicine. He treats adults, children, and women across a broad range of conditions including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, mental health conditions, and orthopedic injuries.
