Dr. Achillefs Ntranos grew up in Athens, Greece, in a family of biologists. Medicine drew him early, and a deeply personal experience deepened that pull: when his father received a lung cancer diagnosis, Dr. Ntranos committed himself to delivering care that treats the whole person, not just the condition.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Athens Medical School, then moved to the United States to join the neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis research team at Johns Hopkins University.
