Dr. Abhijit Adhye is a triple board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. He holds more than 25 years of clinical experience across primary care, hospital medicine, and weight management. He completed his medical education at Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College in 1994 and finished an initial Internal Medicine residency in Mumbai, India. He later completed a second Internal Medicine residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital-South Shore from 2003 to 2006. He also trained in Neurology. Dr. Adhye is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Adhye served as Medical Director of Providence Urgent Care and the Hospitalist Service. He also held the role of President of the Providence Medical Group in Napa, California. He helped launch the Urgent Care program in Napa and served as a hospice physician during that time. He continues to work as a hospitalist to keep his acute care skills current. Dr. Adhye is passionate about prevention, food as medicine, and sustainable lifestyle change. He lives in Napa with his wife, two daughters, and their Goldendoodle, and he enjoys cricket, tennis, and piano outside of the clinic.
